The Scalping is the word that refers to deals and/or operations done and accomplished in the same day and of the duration of no more than five or ten minutes.

Because the operations are opened and closed in a brief time the benefit that you gain is rather low, but since they are so brief, you can even realize more than 40 operations per day, therefore gaining a relevant profit.

The scalping is not an easy operation to deal with. It requires much focus and a deep analysis of the situation in order to determine the right moment of joining and leaving and a single mistake can bring a loss since the time in which you operate in is rather short.

For this reason, a basic and always valid rule is that you should use the scalping only for one title at the time, because following two or more will result in a lost of concentration and consequently, money.

The intraday trading can be seen as a technique similar to the scalping one. In the intraday trading the operations still dure only one day but the difference is that in the intraday trading you have choose the right moment to join or leave, instead who uses the scalping seeks a rather immediate profit.
